Red House Communications is a full-service
marketing and branding agency.

We started on the South Side of Pittsburgh in 1993 as a small team of seasoned branders and marketers. In our first year we helped The Andy Warhol Museum open its doors, hired our first media director and bought five Apple Macintosh II’s. More than 20 years later, Red House Communications is a full-service branding and marketing agency that serves brands of all sizes across the Mid-Atlantic. Our team is bigger, we’ve changed offices a few times and our computers are smaller, but our mission hasn’t changed: we produce strategic and creative thinking for brands of all shapes and sizes. It’s not easy, and it’s not always glamorous, but it’s what we do well.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Phipps is one of the country’s most beautiful and historic botanical gardens and one of the world leaders in sustainability. Since 2007, Red House has worked to produce inspiring advertising campaigns, engaging mobile apps and effective PR strategies for Phipps at all levels.

The Andy Warhol Museum

Red House developed advertising, event promotion, websites and other digital efforts on behalf of The Andy Warhol Museum for over 13 years. During that time, The Warhol became one of the region’s most iconic cultural arts destinations and one of the world’s most respected single artist museums.

The team at Red House was selected from nearly 20 competing agencies to rebrand the Pittsburgh region worldwide. Pittsburgh: Imagine What You Can Do Here was launched and lived as the region’s brand for over a decade as Pittsburgh rose to international acclaim as an economic and leisure destination.

At Red House, we’re structured in a way that gives our clients – regardless of industry or size – access to our senior-level management and staff. Each one of our directors manages a department and a team of people that are cross-functional experts. Our copywriters understand how to write a brand tagline, a tv script and a website. Our digital strategists and developers build email programs and mobile apps. Our PR team can manage events, crisis and consumer campaigns. We wear a lot of hats, but it gives us the depth and versatility to take on accounts and projects of almost any size and type. And we’ve been doing this for more than 20 years.
